Friday June 12th

Hi Gang,
Hilary here...just finished our leisurely breakfast (my fave meal of the day) consisting of oatmeal, beautiful fresh fruit, toast, honey, yogurt..yum!

yesterday was much the same as the others....Denise continues to follow the regimen..she is a model patient:)
we had a cooking class in the afternoon....pretty easy stuff, but we did make oatmeal raisin cookies that are acceptable to the diet and OK to eat too; our instructor was Magaritte(see photo)

last night we had a fun evening of Canasta, Denise, me, Margit, Martin and Micheala....we laughed a lot and had so much fun...we are a competitive bunch; Denise said that both Tamara and I are so sweet and lovely until we get into the game situation...:)I don't know what she means!

Today's highlight is yoga at 11am...Denise missed it last week since she was so poorly then...but it is a different ballgame this week...she is bouncing around the place...then we have a Canasta rematch planned....Margit has sworn to beat me before Denise and I leave on Monday:)

the other photos on today's blog are Taka and his mother Naomi; Naomi is from japan and Taka lives in Calgary, Canada. He has taken 4 weeks off to be with his Mom who does not speak English...but has the most delightful spirit. Taka is a model son and his love for his Mom shines through. it is so wonderful for Naomi that Yashiko (from Toronto) is here at the same time ...she has someone to chat with.

The final photo is posted at the request of Margit; Martin is a dapper English gentleman with a sharp sense of wit and we laughed at him in this photo....it epitomizes a "gerson" patient....juice in one hand, enema bucket in the other!


Denise placed her order of supplements yesterday..so we are beginning to think about the return home....I know she is ready to be with her family and friends and pets again and we have learned all we need to continue the treatments at home now.

so....we hope you are all well and as happy as we are:)
